    Re: Too much fat?

    >>Theres 2g of net carbs in a mushroom.>>

In a fresh mushroom? What kind of mushroom?

Looking at Fitday, "mushrooms, raw", 1 large mushroom is 0.75 total carbs and .23 grams fiber.

    What selection did you make?

You're not doing bad. You just need to eat more... and more fat.

Hmm... I think this has something to do with the way I explained it above. You don't really need to calculate anything other than carbs. You also need to plan to make sure you are eating enough. But that's about it.

On any "diet" you need to count something... whether it's calories, carbs, fat...

We all have to do that.

I didn't say you can't have bacon. But, in my opinion, your sources of protein should not be only bacon, sausage and lunch meat.

Er... at the supermarket? Chicken, pork, beef, turkey, fish...
lol. okay, lay of the bacon and sausage. lol. Well I also get protein from my cheese, eggs and some veggies. like the mushrooms have a crapload of protein per mushroom. about 10g. I had salmon yesterday. I will add tuna and pork to my meals tomorow. Thank you so much for your help. oh and the turkey sausage is made from ground lean turkey meat. Its not like real sausage. is very healthy and unproccessed.

They where baked, so I think that adds carb count. at least thats what the website I went to said. I could be wrong! oh and they are whole white button mushrooms.

            Baking doesn't add carbs.

Enter them raw in FitDay. And add separately the ingredients you used in cooking. It's more accurate this way. You don't know what recipe was used to make FitDay's baked mushrooms.

Looking at what you're eating, you have turkey sausage, bacon, and lunch meat.

That's a lot of processed meat in one day.

You're also having too much cheese ... the limit is 3-4 ounces per day.
okay so limit proccessed meat. today I only ate 3 oz of cheese. is that still to much?

The amount of cheese you listed above is:

                  1oz of cream cheese.

                  1 1/2-2oz of cream cheese

                  7 pieces of cubed cheese

                  1/3 cup of cheese

Assuming cheddar cheese ... 1/3 of a cup is 37.29 grams by weight. One ounce of shredded cheddar is 28.35 grams.

So there's certainly more than 3 ounces of cheese in what you listed.
