  • Cranberry

I was at the store today and there are bags of cranberries stacked everywhere. So are cranberries in the berry rung?

For some reason I always thought cranberries were more of a vegetable, (I don't know why)?!? They must actually be a fruit?

So I guess NO Cranberries on Thanksgiving if you are on extended Induction.

    Re: Cranberry

I would have them on the berry rung.

I would also make my own cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving and have a bit -- especially if it's a favorite food. If it doesn't matter to you, then buy some cranberries while they're in season and freeze them for when you want the sauce in the future.

Another reason not to stay on induction too long
Making your own with an artificial sweetener would make it an acceptable rung 4 addition!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
