I of course have a baby that is two months old and she keeps me up at all hours of the night, on top of that I have two other children at home and one in school. The other two are under 4 years of age. I tend to sleep when I can, sometimes into the afternoon hours. I am just wondering if that affects my weight loss. I was also told that you need to get up early to eat breakfast in order to lose weight. Is this true or does it matter what time you eat during the day at all?

Re: right times to eat?
Dr. Atkins said to eat when you're hungry. And I think you have more than every right to do so with your little crew keeping you up at all hours.

With an infant and a toddler myself, I will heartily endorse satisfying your hunger when it strikes and getting sleep when you can. You have gotta be superwoman, with an infant plus two more under four and another in school!
I will say, once I got into the groove of this WOE, I found myself to be far more alert throughout the day. Before I started, I used to *have* to take an afternoon nap to be able to function later in the day. Now I can start my day at 6am (no choice - the toddler is ready to rock and roll when the rooster crows) and end it at 10pm without needing a nap. And that's with waking up at least twice during the night to nurse the baby. It's a HUGE difference from before, and one that I hope you'll be feeling soon!
