  • Headaches!

    I started out great, the headaches I did have stopped, then yesterday I started to get headaches again! is this normal on an atkins diet?

    You mean, the headaches you had pre-Atkins? Or in the first few days on Atkins?

    Normally not.

    You've been doing this for a week, right?

    Did you use to drink a lot of coffee and sodas pre-Atkins? Caffeine withdrawal is a common cause for headaches.

    Are you eating regularly? Skipping meals can cause low blood sugar... and headaches are one of the possible symptoms.

    Food sensitivities can also cause headaches. Did you add any food recently?

    It could also be something not at all related to your diet... like a cold/flu, a pinched nerve...

          well come to think of it I did have a coffe three days ago. so I think im gonna stay away from that. yes I had headaches before. Mainly after i ate.
