    Re: fat

    >> think some people have relative selective memories about stuff.>>

At Atkins.com she has continuously stated that the 2-3 Tbs. of cream limit per day is correct ... so her position since 2002 hasn't "swayed".

1/2 cup of cream would be 4 ounces ... the typo in the book says 2-3 ounces, not 4.

Are you sure that she had final approval of a book on Induction? (I presume you're referring to Atkins Essentials) After all, the notes at the beginning of the book say, "Jacqueline Eberstein, R.N., director of nutrition information, who worked with Dr. Atkins for almost 30 years and with him helped thousands of patients lose weight and improve their health, reviewed the manuscript for accuracy and made many helpful suggestions."

About Colette, it's written, "Nutritionist Colette Heimowitz, M.S., vice president/director of education and research for Atkins Health & Medical Information Services, wrote the introduction and provided overall guidance."

Seems to me that any "flaws" in the details of the text of the book were not in the domain of Colette.

I don't "really like her" at all.

It is, however, quite clear that you don't ... and that you don't accept anything that she's said in the past or even now as being accurate.

Colette doesn't need me to defend her ... or make any comments on her behalf.

However, you've made a statement in your previous post that I don't think holds up.

So rather than state that I "really like her", why not address the issue at hand ... your claim that she had "final approval" of a book ... when it appears from the documentation that she did not.

And how do YOU explain her statement from 2002 ... and that she has consistently repeated that the 2-3 Tbs. is correct?
