I never really post but today i need to vent! On my first 2 weeks of atkins i lost 6lbs...so i decided to stay on induction for another week monday i weighted myself which would have been week 3 and i didnt lose any weight...normally i would have been super upset but i told myself just keep going...so today i get on the scale and i gained a freakin pound and i had a nervous breakdown!! I am doing the same thing i did on the first 2 weeks..i tested my urine still in ketosis...no matter what diet i do i can NOT get past the 160 mark infact i feel like my body is stuck at 163...how can i beat this??? my will power has been so strong i have not cheated even once!! what the **** is going on....grrrrrrrrrrr it's so upsetting..it makes me want to say screw it might as well order that pizza!!!!! sorry but i just had to vent.....

I'm sorry you didn't lose any weight for a week.
However, there's no guarantee anywhere in DANDR that you will lose every day, every week, or even every month.
If you want to post exactly what you're eating, with net carb counts and quantities, we can take a look.J.

163 pounds? thats pretty light
for my atkins experience i whent from 330 pounds too 230 pounds with atkins and lots of walking.. so after 100 pounds of fat loss i was then stuck
then later on with atkins i started going to the gym working all my muscles out and not just walking cardio like b4 and i lost another 50 pounds of fat and gained 50 pounds of muscle
so now i total 150 pounds of fat loss instead of just 100 so maybe your body has reached its natural weight and you just need to put on muscle to lose that extra fat
and muscle looks really good

How much water are you drinking everyday? You should be drinking a MINIMUM of 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added) -- also what exercise routine are you doing?
As mentioned above, post a couple days worth of everything you put in your mouth - exact amounts also (some cheese doesn't help - 3 ounces of cheese is what we'll need to be able to help). Are you close to your period starting? Are you ONLY eating food on the acceptable food list? How much weight are you trying to loose? It looks like you have about 40 pounds left -- maybe moving to OWL Rung 1 and adding an additional 5 net carbs of vegetables will help get you going again.....Carole_____________________May Water 130oz daily

I feel for you but we both know pizza is not going to solve this
Btw have you looked at the cauliflower pizza recipe - it is really good.
I suggest sharing your menu with us. Maybe we can find something to improve.
Some people find that eating more veggies and moving to OWL helps them. So that is something to think about.

I find that when I'm in a stall [or gain] - I need to start journaling. Once everything is down on paper [or fitday] - I can really look at the numbers and see where I might have gone wrong or what I can tweak. Its usually not enough veggies!
I also believe, with me, that after a loss - my body sits there for a while to get used to the new weight. Just be patient, don't let your frustrations get you down - put your energy into 'problem solving'. I think of it as a challenge every day, and I like challenges

i just want to thank everybody who posted something for me...when i was having my mental melt down : ) I am happy to report i have lost 1 lb since that post. I also did not measure myself when i started atkins (now i could kick myself for that) but i decided to try some shirts on that were too snug before..and i was soooo thrilled they fit!!!!!! I now feel renewed and ready to keep going........
Oh and fyi i did not order that pizza i did however try the cauliflower pizza omg yummy!! thanks and good luck to all : )

Good for you for sticking it out - may I suggest a move to OWL? With the small amount of weight you have to lose, it's not the best idea to stay on Induction - adding more food into your diet can also help you to lose weight. I know it sounds counter-productive, but induction is meant only to kick your sugar/starch addiction - it's not meant as a means to continue losing weight.
Even just moving up to OWL Rung 1 - just adding in an extra 5 carbs of veggies - you might be amazed with the results.
