  • Back on the Wagon...

"That's life, or so they say. Ridin' high in April, shot down in May..."

I guess we have to live with the ups and downs of emotions and their effect on our way of eating. Yesterday I wrote about falling off the wagon. Today, I jumped back on.

Breakfast (early at 6:00 a.m); turkey sausage, red pepper sauce
2nd breakfast/morning snack: breakfast sandwich insides, no muffin - sausage, egg, cheese
Lunch: chicken, lettuce, hard boiled eggs, roasted peppers, romaine lettuce, sesame seeds, w/ranch dressing (no sugar anywhere to be found in the list of ingredients)
Dinner: sausage soup (yeah, it was a heavy sausage day), pork chop w/walnut and mushroom cream sauce

Hardly what I would call "depriving myself."

That's the way to do it. Everyone stumbles some time. Its being able to hop right back on track that will make the difference in the end along with making sure those lapses don;t become commonplace.

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

      Sounds good.
Be aware that your resolve has taken a bit of a hit so nurse it back. Know that you really need to stay strong now.
      Good eats for sure there.
