  • Unexpected Hiatus

It looks like I'll need to stop Atkins for a while. I am having surgery on Monday - completely unexpected and I won't get into details about it. But I'll be out of commission for several weeks

Sadly the hospital menus aren't low carb. But I'll be back. I had great success on Induction and realize this really IS the lifestyle for me.

I may check in every once in a while just for inspiration and to cheer others on.

    All the best to everyone.

                Re: Unexpected Hiatus

careful going from years of low carb to sudden high carb can cause alot of stress on your body along with over flooding of glucose in your muscles aka sore muscles and headaces and brain fog and etc

even though they dont have low carb still do your best to stay low carb if they offer white flour bread dont eat it thats basically just posion

if they offer eggs then eat that even if its mixed with milk and other high carb things its still much better than toast

edit: oh i just looked you havent been on atkins for years yet join date nov 12 xD so your body is still adapted to burn junk food i think
