  • Preparing for Induction starting tomorrow

Boiled 18 eggs for egg salad, hard boiled snacks and deviled eggs.

Bought tons of chicken quarters on sale.

    Steaks

    Catfish

Pork Rinds (to coat the fish in ... sooo good)

    Zucchini and Yellow Squash

Jalapeno's to stuff with some cream cheese and wrap in bacon

    Eggs

    Bacon

Cream Cheese and Heaving Whipping Cream

    Green Olives

    Salad

    Green Beans

Bought some turnips to mash with the ham we're making on Turkey Day. I'll have loaded broccoli while Hubs will eat corn and reg. mashed potatoes.

Have my 64 oz mug out and ready for water.

    I am excited.

Also bought the stuff to make Linda's White Castle Hamburger Pie (LOVE IT) and my favorite dish ... hamburger, onions (lite on) and cabbage cooked until cabbage soft and brown and tossed with some sesame oil.

After 2 years on Weight Watcher's and being hungry all the time; looking forward to feeling satisfied once again.

I did so well on Atkins before but then tried Kimkins and got SOOOO sick. Doing it right this time.

I really think that's the basis of anything working right.

Just made my fave dish .... the one with cabbage and hamburger and sesame oil. Darn it smells good.

Yeah, I do that too, start Atkins as soon I get home with the stuff to cook! If I mess up or have something off plan, I always get right back on and never say I'll wait til tomorrow. I just start with the next snack or meal. That has probably helped me the most, being really ready to jump right back in. If it was any other diet, I couldn't happily jump right in and make myself a hamburger with cheese!

My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

        1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
        2nd mini goal: 140!
        3rd mini goal:135!
        4th mini goal: 130!

I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

Congratulations on the first steps ... Educating yourself, planning and organizing. No time like the holidays to navigate the mine fields. Despite the temptations along the way, you sound like you are determined. And that is half of the battle. Best wishes.

When you are alone in your head, you are in a bad neighborhood.
