Atkins during the holidays!

    Some very good attitudes and points here everyone.

    I agree that I want to celebrate weight loss, and I have already made some commitments to myself. Besides all the exercise challenges and the water challenge, I have made a commitment to get my health back. I cannot think of anything that will taste so good that I would want to "cheat" myself and give up my goals. Those "cheats" so easily turn into a landslide...

    My blood pressure when I restarted Oct 20 was
    192/90. Yesterday it was 118/74. Give that up for food? I don't think so.

    Embrace the changes that have happened in your life since you started this WOL. Are they worth risking for a couple bites of food?

      My blood pressure was one of the very first things to improve...I went from an average 140/90 to 110/65. Amazing results, and very motivating! Proof that even if the weight just won't come off as fast as we'd like, good changes are still happening within us all the time

      I will ONLY weigh once per week! I will refer to DANDR 2002 and this forum when I have questions. I will revel in new recipes, new clothes, and the new feeling of being happy in my skin. I will hold myself accountable to do this the right way, without excuses, because I know that Atkins is the best thing for my health and happiness. I. Will. Succeed!
