  • My Wife Told Me That I Look Smaller

    Just wrapping up week three. I decided that the day after Thanksgiving WAS NOT the time to step on the scale but I did notice that my wedding ring was a little looser and my watch band was also just a smidge looser.

    My wife looked at me later in the day and said "you look smaller."

    I am going to try to stay off the scale except for one day per week. With visual reassurance from others, I am not going to be so hung up on what the scale says.

    congrats! Im weighing in every month and I really do think it helps.....really nice to have confirmation from someone close though

      yeah mate, those scales can be a trap.

      Im weighing in once a week and even then Im trying to be relaxed about it. If you exercise then you put on muscle mass and this weighs more than fat, so a steady weight or even an increase could actually be a step in the right direction to getting a fit body.
      Isnt it great that your wife reckons you look smaller! Maybe you could suggest some other terms she might like to use as well
