  • Oh, Atkins God, I have forsaken thee...

And fallen off the wagon for 2 days.

And I will never do it again. Solidly back on as of last night.

Thanksgiving was fine until the pie came, and I had two forkfuls then a glass of orange juice. Then I had 1/2 a burrito. Don't ask.

And yesterday, some avocado eggrolls at the Cheescake factory.

They were delicious. And came with tamarind/cilantro sauce.

I'm telling you, an evening and an entire sleepless night fraught with gas and sulfur farts and burps is enough to remind me how stupid I was.

No, it was not worth it. And I'm still in discomfort this morning.

I only have to think back on this experience to never repeat it unless I turn into an absolute sadist.

Not weighing myself until Dec. 7. I'm sure I'll get back into ketosis in a few days and hopefully feel better soon.

    Ugh.

That's the legacy of "JUST ONE BITE". It usually doesn't stop with one bite. We all find out the hard way. But good for you for not letting it snowball into a week, month etc

So glad you are here telling us you are back on plan.
It is about changing things in the long run so no need to dwell on small indisgressions. There is always a need to move on though. And that looks to be what you are doing.
