Meat fish eggs and cheese. Did eat sausage stuffed mushrooms on thanjsginving but basicly 0 carbs. 1/2 lortab 2 times a day,. I've been on atkins before. the old Atkins I lost 50 lbs. 30 years ago tried again about 10 years ago and the same thing happened as now except I couldn't get in Ketosis. I was realy excited this time because i went right in Ketosis. I went from 176 to 169 the first week now I'm back to 172. could it be the Thanks giving Ham. I drink alot of water and one day my rings are lose and the next day they are tight.
And yes, the sodium content in the hams and some other meats can cause you to retain a lot of water weight. That is all the more reason you need to drink water. Your body is trying to lower the salt concentration in your body by retaining water. By drinking more water you lower the salt concentrations enough that your body can loosen up and let it flush out. You should shoot for half your body weight (in pounds) in ounces per day. So if you weigh 200 lbs, a goal of 100 ounces of plain water is about right.

"I've never come home after a workout and said, MAN, I wish I had NOT exercised today!"
Some are Atkins specific and others are just general ones.

If you could post a more precise menu it would help a lot.
There are many factors that can prevent weight loss. A good, clean induction is so important because that's how we get our blood sugar stable. Sufficient vegetables, water, exercise, and vitamin supplements are crucial.

Rings getting suddenly tighter usually means water retention, and as the others have said, foods with a lot of sodium can cause the body to retain water, so it might be that you will see those added pounds disappear soon
However, even with the 4 pounds net loss you have lost about 15% of the total number of pounds you are hoping to lose, so are not doing too badly.
I would suggest moving to the main weightloss phase of Atkins (Ongoing weight loss/OWL) and seeing how you do.
