I'm having serious cravings for sweets today...and my usual tricks aren't working. Typically a cup or two of decaf coffee with heavy cream and Splenda or Torani syrup will do the trick. Not this evening. As I type this I am in the process of making scrambled eggs. I think they just might do the trick.

Pickles or olives are helpful.
Also, I find Chromium Picolinate effective (For craving sweets).

Make sure that pickle is DILL! Check the ingredients. Be certain there's no sugar. This has worked for me many times. I always have at least one jar in the fridge.
I made my son some french toast one morning and craved something sweet just from the smell of what I was preparing him. I took a couple of eggs, some cinnamon and a little splenda...and voila, no french toast, but tasted like it and it was gooooood!

Aromatherapy. Hey, you asked for weird!Originally posted by kifl1981 View PostWhat is the weirdest way you've ever broken a craving?
Yankee Candle Christmas Cookie (I use the electric diffuser with the scented oil in the little jar that plugs in but the candle version would work too) and then sip on a cup of Celestial Seasonings Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride herbal tea with a bit of SF sweetener in it.
The combination of the cookie aroma and the sugar cookie tea does it for me. By the time I've finished sipping the cup of tea, the craving is satisfied.
REALLY intense craving? Have one or two of Linda Sue's Clouds with the above. You can make them in different flavors. HTH
