  • Whatever fits

This is one of only a few posts that I have made here, so I thought that I would update. When I registered I put my weight at 292 Lbs. I was only off by 19 Lbs. I weighed at the doctor's office at 311. I was surprised....I nearly fell off the scale when I saw the number. But, since i knew that if I didn't fix the problem I was in bad trouble, I determined to not let it get me down. I came back to the doctor's in two weeks and had lost 13lbs. Atkins is as I remembered, a thoroughly enjoyable and simple way to come back to the land of the living. My joints have quit hurting and my clothes are loose.
Without looking at my first post I can't say how long I have been on the diet, nor do I care. I don't weigh myself but will when I return to the doctor's for my next visit.
My goal is 200Lbs if i lift weights and perhaps 185 if I don't. I have every confidence that i will, in time, reach the goal. I am in no hurry.
Oh, I found that I have developed an allergy to wheat which makes this diet even easier.
Oh, and there are no more mood swings.
I don't post this to brag but to tell anyone who may be looking to lose weight that here is a guy that doesn't care much for organization, doesn't have much use for rules and never writes anything down....If I can make this work, folks, anyone can make this work.
