  • Will I have to start induction over?

I have been on induction 5 days. I went to Applebees and had a steak and my friend ordered hot artichoke spinach dip. I had several spoonfuls without the chips. I thought it would be fine if it was mostly cheese based, but later I read it may have alfredo sauce.

Will I have to start over?

    Thanks!

There's nothing wrong with alfredo sauce.

It's more likely to have had flour in it.

    However, what's eaten is eaten.

You don't have to "start over" ... just continue on.

Also, the Applebee's steak probably had sugar in it.

      Hey Gang!
I have been "stalled" for about 2 weeks, not a change, none, zip, zilch, nadda!
SO yesterday I sat down and reexamined what I have been eating...the only thing that stuck out at me, was that in the past 2 weeks, things have been really busy and we have been eating out a lot. we have gone to applebees's. I have the same thing...salad dry, and a house sirloin with blue chees on it. Probably about 4 times wekk for the last 2 weeks, they are so good, I would order and extra to go and have it for breakfast the next day.

SO I get online at Applebees.com and look to see if there is something in those steaks that woulde be stalling me. Now I am thinking, unless there is some small amount of sugar inthe seasoning the steaks should be a no brainer. Well the web site says no nutritional info available.

I called corporate Applebees, and they tell me that I need to call the local restraunt to ask them to look on the box of staeks for the ingredents. I call the local resturant, and they go look. Not only is sugar the 2nd ingredent ( beef being the first ) but they are injected with a dextrose solution too!!! I am so angry!!! angry at myself for blindly thinking that a steak is a stek...and applebees for shootingit full of sugar!!!

And don't rely on websites to provide nutrition info either. Often users, not the restaurant, provide that information. The first one I pulled up on "Applebee's Nutrition" gave the steak dinner zero carbs... yet it includes vegetables??? How lame!

yep gonna scoot to Applebees and get me some o' them zero-carb veggies! LOL!!!
