You can find it on the USDA site:

It's not on the USDA site (or at least "bourbon vanilla" isn't).

The closest you'll likely find is vanilla extract, imitation, with alcohol. In which case it's .1g carb. I have no idea what the numbers would be for bourbon vanilla, but doubt it's much different.

The USDA has real vanilla listed.

It's "vanilla extract". 1 Tbs. is 1.64 net carbs.

Right, but she asked about vanilla with bourbon, so choosing the vanilla "with alcohol" is probably her better bet.

Also, she asked for the tsp carbs, not tbsp., just in case there was any confusion. I constantly have to re-check my references when interchanging the two.

Thanks everyone. I used 1 tsp and it was wayy too strong.. Hence, I will be using less than that. I really just wanted to make sure it is safe. And since there is no added glucose or corn syrup, I am sure it is fine for consumption. Thanks again

A little vanilla goes a very long way.

After I replied to Atkinsgal, I googled the product. It appears to be "real" vanilla:

Spice Islands 100% pure Bourbon vanilla extract is created by soaking finely chopped beans in alcohol, a process known as maceration, to draw out the beans’ aromatic and flavor compounds. Vanilla beans, water and alcohol are the sole ingredients, with no trace of corn syrup some extracts use to reduce the bitter flavor of inferior beans.
But, then again, there's alcohol in it, so who knows for sure. Atkinsgal is probably right it's "real." In any event, the carb count is negligible, especially in the amounts you'll use.

Umm ... bourbon vanilla is not vanilla with bourbon in it. It's an indication of where it's from.

So using the USDA entry "vanilla extract" would be the correct entry.

And I figured that if one had the carb count for 1 Tbs., one could divide by 3 to get the carb count for 1 tsp.

                  >> the carb count is negligible,>>

                  .54 isn't "negligible".

                  >>since there is no added glucose or corn syrup, >>

Most vanilla extract does have this.

One must read the label carefully.

.54 for a teaspoon is half of one carb. Han said she'd use less than a tsp, so we can certainly pick nits over whether .17 or .28 or .11 or .31 is "negligble" or not, but that wouldn't be a productive use of anyone's time. It's certainly "negligble" for the US labeling folks who allow rounding down to zero with numbers like that, but probably not negligible for someone obsessed with fractional carb counts and carb creep, which I understand can be very real for some folks who lose track of hidden/missing/undercounted carbs.
