Maybe you added a food that's triggering cravings.

I eat when that sensation overcomes me. I haven't officially sat down and added carbs since I started, so that answer would be no. I've had some slip ups lately, and that's probably the ultimate trigger. I just need to get refocused I think.

I'm definitely sticking with Atkins, however. Now that my body's kind of adjusting to this new lifestyle and not dropping weight as rapidly as I have in previous months, I really need to start closely monitoring what all I'm consuming so that I can accurately determine my CCLL and all that good stuff.
      Hey there Big Southern Boy-

Been on WW a million times, I was always hungry!

Try this recipe- you can still have a sandwich-not a "big boy hero sandwich", but a reasonable sandwich.

      Cleochatra's Best Ever Revol-Oopsie Rolls

Are Revolution rolls the same thing as the Oopsie Rolls? - Low Carb Friends

      3 large eggs- separated
      1 pkg Splenda
      dash of salt
3 ounces cream cheese (not Tbsp!) Do not soften!

      pinch of cream of tartar

      Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Separate the eggs. DO NOT GET ANY YOLK IN THE WHITES or they will not stiffen properly. Whip egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff (if you're using the same mixer, mix the whites first and then the yolk mixture).
Add Splenda, salt, and cream cheese to the yolks. Use a mixer to combine the ingredients together. Using a spatula, gradually fold the egg yolk mixture into the white mixture, being careful not to break down the whites.

Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray and spoon the mixture onto the sheet, making 6 mounds. Flatten each mound slightly.

Bake about 30 minutes (You want them slightly softer, not crumbly). Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes, and then remove to a rack and allow them to cool.

      Storage and freezing:

I store them in a zip lock bag with the bag open partially (this way they breathe and don't go over moist and keep them in the fridge after the first day. Then, when you want to use them, take them out and set them on the counter for 15-30 minutes or until they are room temperature. This makes them more 'dry' and less sticky.

As for freezing, I tried freezing and they do freeze. This time you want to close the Ziploc when storing (I only store two per bag). To thaw, let them rest on the counter until room temperature in the bag with the bag open. When they're close to room temperature, set them outside of the bag so that they can 'dry' out slightly for use.

Makes 6@ about 85 calories a piece, >1 carb per

        Re: Calories, calories, calories.

If you have gone from 343 to 287 on low carb, why in the world would you want to switch over to counting calories? (I've done that many, many times - counted calories, not switched over from low carb - never lost much and stayed hungry a lot of the time, plus counting calories is a pain in the $&* because you have to do a lot more counting).

Maybe you are just bored with your menus - print off some low carb recipes from here or Linda's Low Carb and try something new when you have some spare time. Some of them are really easy. Maybe it will get you back on track. I get on kicks with trying new things I love, eat that regularly for a while, then get bored and find another few new things. It helps a lot.

          Why not?

How are you going to add carbs in OWL if you don't know where you're starting from?

I think you're dead on. I've tried new recipes the last week or two and that's really helped. I just have to keep at it.

When I started this gig, I was skeptical to say the least. I was just going to kind of half-heartedly give it a go and see what happened. I never expected to come as far as I have. I started out just sticking to the low carb food groups, not counting a thing, and had awesome success, so I just stuck with what was working.

That's why I said I have to get serious about keeping track of what all I'm eating now, though, so I can move into OWL properly.

when i started atkins i was the same way xD iv never been good at counting anything i just ate the lowest carb food and had success

then later on after i reached 250 pounds about i saw these 10 net carb whole wheat wraps and started eating them because i only counted carbs back then

well these 10 net carb whole wheat wraps 100% stalled my weight and i ate them for a few months so i lost nothing during that time then i finally cut them out of my diet and started loseing weight again

then later on i found out whole wheat is a rung 9 food and it spikes your blood sugars

i also found the medium carb vegetables like spagetti squash and higher rung foods like berries or to much whipping cream = mostly a stall for me as well back then

anyways depending on how much you read about the diet remember not to eat any margarine or canola oil but eat unsalted butter instead

and also dont eat any soy
