  • Why does my skin feel mushy?

    Hi, all!

I've noticed this past week that my skin feels squishy, mushy, what ever you want to call it. It's like a loose fat not a tight fat. Has this happened to anyone else? Or am I just a weirdo?

Mine feels the same way. After awhile it will firm up with excersise.

You are less bloated---no extra water hanging around to puff up your skin. Don't worry, it will shrink up. Exercise will help.

Yeah, I get the same thing. Before my fat used to feel kind of rubbery, and now it's sort of mushy. That only happens to me when I am in the process of losing weight, so it's a good thing!

I'm glad I'n not the only one with this problem. I'm glad that it is a good problem to have.

I think of it as deflating. Eventually it'll firm up. Until then, enjoy fiddling with it..it's pretty neat..lol.

Sometimes this happens just before I get a whoosh too. Work on it and you will firm up.

Sounds just like my squishy theory we've discussed in the STAC forum. I can tell when I'm getting ready for a loosing streak as I get really squishy, then it firms back up and the weightloss slows for a bit, then I get squishy again and start loosing again. I think its the fat cells going away and the skin just has to catch up.
