Books are in general very expensive here in dubai, so was wondering where can I find them in the UK? Something like ebay? I tried ebay but I think the books I found were a different publication.

a friend of mine stays in UK and she can send me the book when she visits dubai.

Anyone know of any online stores I can find it at, where it does not cost the sun, moon and the earth? Even second hand is perfect. As long as the seller is willing to post to my friends address?

Are you familiar with Amazon.com? Do you have anything similar over there?

They have used copies for 1 cent on up. Of course the shipping from here may be expensive. That's why I wonder if you have a similar type of website there.

Also how long have you lived in Dubai? Have you asked anyone there about what websites they may be aware of?

Will this do for me? Couldn't find anything else and I dont think this is the publication used by this forum either

That's the 2002 edition of the book... so the one you need. It's the one published in England, which is why the cover might look different from what you've seen around here.

Don't forget that Amazon is international ... the books don't have to come from the US.

There's amazon.co.uk, etc.

I will most probably buy the book tomorrow. And I hope when I am in india, even if I do not have time to access this forum, the book will help a bit.

Just out of curiosity, is there an online pdf version of this book that can be purchased?
My phone doubles for me as a pdf book reader. I have already downloaded the Atkind Carbohydrates guide and put it in my phone. It would be nice if I could get the book too in my phone.

any ideas on this?
