I am currently on the induction period and am having a problem. After I eat breakfast I am full for pretty much the entire day until around 9 at night. For breakfast I usually have eggs along with a steak or another type of meat. Is it ok to eat that late? Does anyone else have this problem?

yeah I had that problem when i first started induction also, i still get that way even now 5 months later, You shouldn't go more than 6 waking hours with something, so i at least try to eat a small snack, like a piece of cheese or meat.

Try eating less for breakfast. I eat one egg and one piece of bacon, that holds me until lunch.Julie__________________F/37/5'2"__________________Start April 15, 2009

Re: Does anyone else have this problem?
Per Dr. A, don't go more than 6 waking hours without eating something. Even if it's a small snack.
I make sure to eat throughout the day, for a couple of reasons - Eating boosts your metabolism, so you want to eat small meals throughout the day.
Not eating also sets yourself up for a binge... trust me!
lol.
I personally don't think it matters what time you eat - I wouldn't eat late every single day but your body will adjust to whatever you do. make sure you eat veggies with that steak though!
Also, if you're exercising your appetite will increase!

Re: Does anyone else have this problem?
I agree with Julie, you might be eating too large a meal at breakfast, so maybe cut the portions in half then and see if you fancy eating the rest at lunchtime.
Some of us have a hard time realising when our hunger is 'satisfied' when we start induction so we do need to limit what we eat at one go and see if our natural appetite can sort itself out so we can recognise the difference between 'hungry' and 'no longer hungry'.
I noticed you didn't mention vegetables in your post, Shaoliano. Best to have some with each meal to spread your carbs across the day if you can.
Remember our vegetable net carbs are supposed to make up 'most' of our up to 20 net carbs on induction, so if you eat none you will be on zero carbs with no cheese, eggs, cream, sweetener etc allowed.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
