    Re: Chlorestrol Question

your doctor sounds foolish all caught up with that low fat dogma

dont worry about the small spike in LDL its most likely from the saturated fat you ate and saturated fat creates the good large type of LDL that has no health risks of course when you get a cholestoral test done they will never tell you this because they want you to take drugs

mostly everyone who starts atkins i see has a spike in LDL that settles down 6+ months later on i can only guess its a spike of the good large LDL then later on your body gets rid of the small dense LDL it had b4

as for the lower HDL thats not very good but its prob due to not being in as good shape

but dont worry about your cholestoral sugar and glucose and man made fats and hydrogenated oils pose a much greater risk for a heart attack than cholestoral and if you eat a low fat diet you will be eating alot of sugar

make sure your not eating any of that soo called heart healthy crap at the store like margarine which helps cause heart disease

eat lots of eggs , unsalted butter and carlsons cod liver oil should help

and LDL is needed in the body you would die with out it and it helps create new cells and your HDL recycles your LDL and the large healthy LDL wont get stuck and turn rancid before being recycled

also know that the average doctor and health care system doesnt have a clue what they are doing cause 1 out of every 2 americans will die from a heart attack

but when you take cultures of people who eat naturally from nature and dont listen to any doctors like eskimos who eat a diet of up to 80% fat they have absolutely no heart disease , obesity , type 2 diabetes etc
