    I started atkins in late november but every other week just sort of fell off the wagon and was not working out..late december I started to really follow it and added the gym from november to december I only lost like 7 lbs not following it right..from december to march 18 I lost 50 lbs give or take depending what mood my scale is on lol.

      Very good article, we all need to remember to drink our water!!
      Soooo good for us in every way!
      And when I was really losing, I swear the days I got all my water in I always saw a loss the next day!
      *miss those days!* lol
      Started Atkins on December 8th, 2005

      Officially Re-Focusing on 12-28-09.

      Was, Am, Will be: 280/222/175ish.
      Started Dec 2005 and lost 105 lbs by mid 2006, maintained loss for the most part until 2009...then really let go & gained some back... lol

      so:
      Restart Progress:
      12/28/09 ~ 235.1
      01/04/10 ~ 229.0
      01/11/10 ~ 229.0 Grrrrr....
      (Induction= only 6lbs but lost 10 inches! yay)
      01/18/10 ~ 227.4
      01/5/10 ~ 226.8
      02/01/10 ~ 222.6

        That was a positive article on the benefits of drinking water and we all should drink up.Thanks for posting that shall encorouge members to drink up!

            Excellent - and a good reminder for us about WHY drinking enough water is brought up so often.

            Lost 35-50lbs switching to whole-foods diet, 2006
            Started Atkins at 318 on 7/5/09

            MINI-GOALS
            1st - 299 - 9/1/09!
            2nd - 285 - 10/19/09!
            3rd - 278 - 11/11/09!
            4rd - 271 (minus 80) -12/24/09!
            5th - 261 (minus 90, least since '90) - 4/28/10
            6th - 251 (minus 100 from high weight) -
            7th - 241 (minus 110)
            8th - 231 (minus 120)
            9th- 225 (college athletics weight, minus 126)
            FINAL GOAL - 215 (?) - (minus 136)
