as of this morning I have lost 61 pounds. It's still unbelieveable to me! The amazing part is that it has been so simple--no cravings, irritability, or feeling like I am "missing out" on something. Of course, what's even more impressive is I took on this lifestyle at a time when most wouldn't even consider starting a new way of life--the holidays.
I have weighed myself once per week, sometimes less, to avoid letting the scale dictate my feeling of success. I am close to losing an average of 7 pounds per week, but have lost only 5 since 11 Dec--so I believe as I get closer to my goal/natural body weight the weight is coming off more slowly. I will need to evaluate my food plan and make sure I'm consuming the right amount of calories for my new weight. I have always exercised for 60-90 minutes per day, 7 days a week, so keeping that up has not been a problem. Although I do notice I am working out at a much greater intensity.
So to everyone on ADDB I say thank you. It is through this website that I have found the knowledge and inspiration to take control of my weight and lead a better life.
