Here is a question about me upping my carb intake, I am at a stand still since increasing by 5 which makes me intake 25 carbs daily. I increased by eating cabbage, cauliflower and ate 4 flax cookies in the last week scale has not budged. Do you think it could be from the new additions? Or should I be happy with the 10 pounds lost since Nov 28 and continue to add new veggys?

Re: Question about increased carbs
Very often when you move to OWL, there's a "pause" as your body figures out what's going on.
Also ... you simply won't lose every day, every week, or even <gasp> every month.
What you should do is to continue eating the 5 extra Induction vegetable carbs per day ... for 25 net carbs per day.
Remember that you should add a NEW food one at a time, and only 3 times per week. If you add too many new things at once, you won't be able to figure out if any of them is a problem.
Remember, too, with flax that you should have an extra 8 ounces of water ... for each "cookie".J.

It's not just the first week ... it's anytime you're adding something new.
It will be the pattern during OWL and pre-maintenance.J.

Other foods only mess up my blood sugar. Anything that combines pumpkin and tomatoes doesn't work for me, for example.
How much flax is in one of these cookies? If you are not used to flax, it can cause you water retention from too much soluble fiber.ate 4 flax cookies"Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."
