    Re: to stop a binge

i am sorry you are struggling too.. but i have to say that there is a certain comfort in knowing that i am not alone in this identical situation.. and all the support that helps us get through these struggles.. Sighhhh... i have continued to slip despite my iron clad intentions... the craving speak to ya .. specially when ya are feeling weak and defeated .. Get back up, dust my self off.. start fresh.. the new year is a perfect time for fresh starts , don't yo all think?

Suzanne, be gentle with yourself. We are blesedly human, afterall.
It is good for you that you recognize your triggers. Stand tall, brush yourself off, look in the mirror and give yourself positive words of encouragement, and continue on.

            Re: to stop a binge

I'm with you guys! I did good over Christmas but then gave in to cheesy popcorn over the week-end. Salty cravings led to sweet cravings. I have my sugar free candies that I count the carbs on but I want them all the time. And diet coke... I have caved in occasionally, but I find it's getting easier to cave in. Now I find myself WANTING food all the time. And waking up hungry. WHAT's THAT ALL ABOUT!!

I think my new years resolution is to finally take some wonderful advice from the adbb friends and say goodbye to my sweet tooth!

Keep telling us, guys, & eventually it might sink in!! Yeah, Suzanne, I'll be giving up the rungs for a week or so too! Good luck!!

I never left...have always been here - with the water challenges.

I tried the Carbsmart Ice Cream once at a friends home and decided real quick it wasn't something I wanted to eat or would indulge in again - 1 small serving of the vanilla flavor and I was climbing the walls wanting sweets again. That's when I decided it was time to kill my sweet tooth once and for all. Good luck getting things under control again!
