I recently restarted atkins and I'm on induction. So far I really haven't experienced any "flu" symptoms besides just being tired and that's so crazy cuz usually I have horrible headaches. Well hey can't complain about that, but what is different for me is that I have been having runny stool...is that normal during induction?
Quick question....

Yes, or it could be a virus going around right now. That came through our house this week. I hope you're feeling better soon.

It might happen if, for example, you are now eating more fiber or more fat than you did pre-Atkins. Then it will take your body some time to get used to your new way of eating.Originally posted by sachet View PostI have been having runny stool...is that normal during induction?
Psyllium husks are high in soluble fiber and soluble fiber adds bulk to the stool. You can try 1-2 tbs and see how it works... and then change the amount from there, if needed.
You aren't consuming any sweets with sugar alcohols, are you?

Re: Quick question....
Yes, that happened to me..it was part of my "flu" and thankfully didn't last long. I didn't experience any flu during my first time with Atkins, so it kind of threw me for a loop.
Take care,
Jane
