    Just Got A Pair Of The New Shape~Ups Sneaker's !!!

    They are a Whole Crazy New Experience For Your Feet !!! LOL

    It will take some time getting use to having lil rocking horses on the bottom of my feet, but they are really cool !!!

    Will come in handy with the snow we have on the ground here in Maryland right now, for keeping me in shape & my feet up off the ground !!! LOL

    I found 2 different version's of them on the Internet.

    Skecher's Shape~Up's starting at $110.00 a pair in assorted styles at     www.Skechers.com

    Danskin Now Spring Sneaker's for $25.00 in White & Black styles at     www.Walmart.com & in their stores.

    I went with the Danskin's as being I have Lupus & have problems with my feet, I have bought a lot of shoe's that I wasn't able to wear.

    The $25.00 price tag seem more in my price range & if they work out well I may think about saving~up for the Skecher's !!!

      I saw those advertized. They look like Earth Shoes on steroids. Earth Footwear - Comfortable Stylish Shoes I wear Earth Shoes and find them very comfortable---and eco-friendly.

          Hey cool I can't do $110 shoes but I might swing $25 hehehe They look like fun, though I admit I'm skeered I'll fall and bust my biscuits with those strange soles. Wait, I'm on Atkins now and losing my biscuits!!! paaaaaaaaaaaahahahahha

            I have been walking around the house in them all afternoon & even with my Lupus Iam not having any problem with them at all !!!

              so they force you to use the natural walking motion land on heel roll up to toes for take off? bet they would be great for beginning couch-2-5K folk or any other new to their body walking jogging or running program.

                They kind of work on the same theory as the Earth Shoes "negative heel" technology does: you are basically walking/standing on an incline because the heel is lower than your toes. This aligns your body better, so your posture improves. And it also changes your whole walking/standing dynamic. When I started wearing my Earth shoes, my legs ached---muscles were used in ways that my walking and biking did not use them. The problem with wearing shoes like that is when you wear non negative heel shoes----you can feel it.

                    Just so you know you can get the Skechers cheaper at outlet factory brand stores...I was in Missouri over Halloween and they were at least $20 cheaper there - PLUS they said they would deliver them to you if they didn't have them in stock FREE SHIPPING! I didn't get any as I didn't have $90 to spend either, but just so you know...

                    Mini Goals:
                    Goal 1 - 10% (September 13th, 2009)
                    Goal 2 - Pre-Pregnancy Weight with 2nd Child (September 27th, 2009)
                    Goal 3 - 50 lbs down (December 1st, 2009)

                      To all of those that have never tried them & are putting them down a head of time !!!

                      Iam living proof that when I woke~up this morning after wearing them all day yesterday for the 1st time ~ I could feel the toning effect in my calf's, back of my thigh's & bottom !!!

                      Oh & my Feet, Lower Legs & Lower Back where I have Nerve Dammage feel wonderful !!!

                        Do they make them for men? I think I'll take a trip to Walmart today and look for them. Even guys could use a tone butt. I just have to ask, kaylasgram, why would you save up for the reeboks or sketchers if the danskins work? I'm sure the extra $90 could be spent on nice things for you instead of a brand name. PS, I love the C. S. Lewis quote.

                          Got my shape-ups yesterday and love them! Immediately went out for a 30 minute walk with the dog - it was like walking on air. My plantar fasciitis and bummed out knee didn't hurt at all.

                          Unforturnately, they have to go back - one of the eyelets wasn't sewn and the shoelace came loose. I can't wait until I get them back, then watch out - the dog and I will be on a mission!

                            Earth Shoes come in men's styles. In fact, for women and men, Earth shoes come in casuals (warm weather and cold weather), dress shoes, boots, and active shoes (walking and running.) It's the negative heel that makes Earth Shoes and these shape ups different.

                            Kaylasgram has less leg pain because the shoes align her foot (legs, hips and back) properly. I have a pair of Earth sandals that I wear all year long. I can wear them outside (no socks) in the freezing weather we've been having and my feet feel warm because the shoe keeps my feet and legs in such perfect alignment that my circulation is perfect too.
