  • 9 Days!

    Hi Everyone!

Today is day number 9 of induction and I feel amazing! My cravings for both salty and sweet foods is completely gone and my appetite has decreased tremendously. I am absolutely LOVING the way I feel and have a ton of energy! I haven't stepped on the scale yet, I think I'm going to wait until Thursday which will be day number 14.

Sounds like you're doing great, K!

I'm glad to read that your appetite has decreased without taking those pills you were talking about.

Make sure you are eating enough calories and veggies to give your body proper nutrition.

I am glad you are already experiencing some of the benefits of doing Atkins
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

              Re: 9 Days!

Thankyou all so much for the wonderful replies and support, I really appreciate it!

I didn't actually think I could get past the first two days without cheating and even though I wanted to really bad, I talked myself out of it many times. Life seems so much clearer now that I feel better about both my health and appearance, it's amazing.

So today is day number 10 of induction and although I said I wasn't going to step on the scale until Thursday, I couldn't resist. I have lost a total of 11 pounds and am completely shocked because my Thyroid is VERY bad at the moment. It really is possible to lose weight with ease even if one has Hypothyroidism.

Again, thankyou so much for all of the support and kind words
