  • FitDay...What a great tool!!!

In doing searches on this site to find answers to my questions, I saw mentioned a couple of time the website FitDay.com. I decided to go there and see what it was all about. To my joy, it was just what I needed and more! You see I had been keeping track of my food diary, my weight, the foods that I ate regularly, my measurements, and my blood sugar readings (I am diabetic) all on an Excel spreadsheet. This website has the tools to track all of this plus give you reports. I would recommend this site to anyone keeping track of their progress.

Remember that Fitday doesn't show you NET carbs. You have to look in the Calories Eaten Today window and "do the math".

The PC version does allow for that.

If you want an online free tool that does show net carbs, try All Things Food and Diet - FatSecret

I always use fitday and liked it also. My friend purchased the program and really liked it, but I'm cheap

I have both the online version and the offline version of fitday, and both make it fairly easy to subtract net carbs. I simply subtract fiber from daily totals, which is all that is necessary for me.

If I do need to know the net carbs of individual items, I open up a new day and input each item individually, taking note of each amount.

But really, I'm an easy peasy kind of girl, so I tend to simply just use the fiber deduction. I love fitday!
