I felt terrible when I was inadvertently eating too little fat because peoplee seem to be so fat-phobic. If you get the chance, check out FatHead, the documentary by Tom Noughton. One of the reasons it is surmised that so many Americans went on Prozac in the early 80's? Low-fat diets became mainstream! The brain needs fat to function, and the fat provides satiety to the body. It also tickles the brain's pleasure sensors, telling your body it's had something very satisfying and wonderful. It's just hard to beat in terms of foodstuffs.

I know, we are programmed to think all fat=bad, but that's just not true, as you are learning.

      Natural fats ROCK.

good for you. fatty acid metabolism needs dietary fats to help the vits get absorbed and to keep the system primed for full speed ahead.
