  • Lesser of two evils

    Hi Adkins Group:

What do you all think is the lesser of these two evils?

Caffine free diet coke with aspartame
    or
Diet Coke With caffine and splenda

Ugh. Considering the grossness of Diet Coke, I think drinking either one of them constitutes the real evil.

Do we have to pick? If so I think Diet Coke with splenda would be the lesser of the two EVILS

Caffinated drinks can leach calcium from your bones. (the AJCN link is in one of my other posts) Aspartame can cause folks to stall in their loss. I'll take the third choice - I choose neither one!

If you need a soda, look for Zevia instead (Stevia sweetened). Aspartame is BAD stuff. Splenda isn't really much better.

I really believe it's an individual choice. I do fine with caffeine, but I've read about many who simply cannot handle the stuff. I'm ok with splenda, but I know many here wind up having cravings if they partake of splenda. Which works better for you?

                    There all just bad really..
I wouldn't.. I havent even given in to sweetner.
I don't ever want to crave 'sweet' again, it made me 10 kgs heavier than I am now.
