Just wanted to share this with everyone as today was HUGE for me. Today when I did my weekly weigh-in, I hit 50lbs lost. Only 40 had been lost during Atkins, but non the less I'm down 50 lbs. Before I swithced to the Atkins WOE, I was trying the whole oatmeal in the morning, a salad for lunch and a sensible dinner with alot of cardio (2 45min sessions a day) 5 months of that got me down 10lbs. What makes 50 lbs so important is that 7 months ago, I told all my friends and wife that I would not eat pizza until I lost 50 lbs. Pizza played a big part my life (and weight gain).
Well, now that I'm there, dispite all the peer pressure, I have decided not to have my little pizza party with a number 50 candle on it to celebrate my success. Instead, I'm going to celebrate my succes by moving to On-going Weight Loss. Today finished week #9 for me and every single day has been cheat free. I remeber exactly what pizza taste like and yes I do miss it. But to me, the juice is simply not worth the squeeze. I feel so much better physically and mentally now!!
