  • Took 3 months off, but I'm still here

I got down to 308, then took some time off. Started eating peanuts, fruits and stuff then cheating on the weekends with donuts, cake, fast food, etc.

Gained back to 314 (which was my weight before I left) but it's all good since I'm back on strict induction. In all actuality, only gaining 6 lbs in 3 months of eating crap isn't too bad.

I'm still exercising, but only aerobics now. I did something to injure my bicep and it hurts when I do weights so I've taken about 2 months off now. I'll let it recover for a few more months, and probably take 5-6 months total away from weights to concentrate more on aerobic activity.

I do 30 minutes, 5 times a week now but plan to return to my usual hour workout 6 times per week after the two week induction intro period.
    What I do:
Elliptical gym machine 1 hr Tue-Sun
At 320, switch to cycling on my Trek 500
    2 filtered containers water/day
    Daily salads/veggies

    Goals:

Stop needing High Blood Pressure meds - DONE!
    Workout in a XXXL shirt
    - DONE!
    Workout in a XXL shirt
    Workout in a XL shirt
    270 on the scales

    Welcome back!

There's nothing wrong with eating peanuts and fruits. Did you do it by moving to OWL?

I didn't have a system or logical path in my eating, I just ate some cashews and peanuts when I was hungry to tide me over until another meal period.

Then the donuts began, and I knew I had to STOP.
      What I do:
Elliptical gym machine 1 hr Tue-Sun
At 320, switch to cycling on my Trek 500

Why not move to OWL then and add more veggies, some fresh cheese, nuts, berries, etc., in a systematic way?

Staying on Induction does not guarantee you will lose weight faster.

And if you don't add foods back properly and stray... you'll be gaining weight, not losing.

Have you read Chapters 12 and 13 in DANDR? Are you answering the 4 questions in Ch. 13?
