  • I Just Found An "Torani Naturally Flavored SF Flavoring Syrup" At My Local Walmart !!

I was sooooo EXCITED to find an aternative to "Da Vinci SF Flavoring Syrup" that I don't have to order & wait for it to arrive !!!

Torani Naturally Flavored SF Flavoring Syrup is sweetned with "Splenda" & other natual flavor's

A 12.7 oz bottle was only $4.42 each & they range from 0 to 1 net carb per 2 tablespoon's.

My Local Walmart is selling them in with the Coffee Creamer's, along with Non~Sugar Free Flavor's also !!!

I listed their Web Site address below so that you can see all of the flavor's they offer.

I brought home a bottle of Vanilla & Raspberry, so that Iam now enoying a lovely 16oz glass of Sparkling Vanilla/Rasperry Water over Crushed Ice = 1 TBS each flavor, 1/2 net carb !!! YUMMY

I may even cut back on how much I use in my next glass as my Sweet Tooth after 1 year being on Atkins has GREATLY been dimished !!!

They have their Nutrition Fact's listed for each Flavor along with Recipe's on the Web Site !!!

    http://www.torani.com/home/products

Thanks for letting me share once again here on the Forum & have a GREAT rest of your day !!!

Re: I Just Found An "Torani Naturally Flavored SF Flavoring Syrup" At My Local Walmar

    Hi,

My SuperWalmart carries SF Choc, SF Vanilla, SF Carmel, SF Hazelnut, and SF Raspberry. I only have the SF chocolate for an occasional splash in my espresso.

There is a store about 20 minutes from my home that carries EVERY single flavor. Must be quite a display. I have not gone there...it may be too tempting.

The one thing that bothers me is that it isn't clear how much Splenda is used, so we don't know what the 2 Tablespoon serving is equal to.
They say "0" carbs, but I guess to be safe 1 serving of the syrup would probably be at least 1 serving of Splenda?

      Yes.

And it's not really 0 carbs because of the flavorings. According to DaVinci, a 25 ounce bottle would contain about 3-4 carbs.

I can't believe it would be different for Torani.

        Hey J,

Yes, I forgot to add that I would personally count a serving as 1 carb.

And Torani and DaVinci are probably very very similar. (Don't tell them that...LOL)

            Yummmm, I LOVE Torani!
It's the only one I'll use. I personally HATE Di Vinci... It tastes really weird to me..

But Yum, Torani is the bomb.
I love the SF vanilla the best but we can get pretty much every flavor from Cost Plus (World Market) and from my uncle who works at a local coffee company here.

About 2 Xmas's ago he got us a SF cotton candy flavor - that might sound weird but omg it was so good!

I use the different favors to make different flavored whipped creams, like peach, cherry, straweberry.. etc...

I could just go on forever...
            lol

Oh and the vanilla tastes good w/ sweet potatos too...

Girl you should go check that store out.... really, it could open some doors to flavors you thought you might never get again...

I personally don't worry too much about how much Splend is in a serving - only because a little goes a long way, so if you estimate you put a few tsp's (it's all very strong to me personally so i don't put that much) and then divide that by servings you don't end up with too much of it I don't think...

              It's all about moderation, right?

Exactly, and I am still working on that, I am sort of an all or nothing.

If I play with them too much I may over use them and develop an addiction to them. I know my faults. I only keep the SF chocolate or SF Vanilla in the house, and try to only use them occasionally.

                      LOL no...
I've been eating this way for years, I've climbed up and down and all around the rungs...

Just a note: just because I mention a food doesn't mean I currently eat them - or eat them at all for that matter. lol

I could say 'omg mushrooms are sooo good on pizza' - that doesn't mean I'm eating pizza.

I can manage with unroasted almonds with the skin on and have some small containers that hold exactly one ounce to take with me as emergency rations. Otherwise I only use ground nuts in recipes.
