  • i have learned my lesson...

I admit it.. i ate things I really should not have yesterday.. I ate a yorkshire pudding thing .. some splenda apple crisp with a bit of ice cream and a granola bar for supper.. I had decided it was going to be my 'only cheat day' ugh.. what a horrendous mistake.
shortly after eating i felt sick to my stomache.. went to bed and had troubles sleeping because of my belly ache.. then today I am gassy and crampy and feel like crud.
It is a real eye opener for me.. this is how i felt a lot of times before starting Atkins.. and now I know why!!
I also have a head ache today .. i used to get a lot of head ache's and hadn't since i started Atkins.
I don't know why I had to make such a big mistake before learning.. But I never want to feel this way again! It really makes me understand how horrible sugar and empty starch is for the body! Anyway.. not much else to say other than.. wow.. i totally learned my lesson on this one.. I dont have the disire to eat any of that crap again.. the thought of it is making my stomache turn again.. ugh

It's always a good thing to learn the lesson.

Now ... copy your post and keep it handy for the next time you might think that having a cheat day doesn't have consequences!

This is what got me on the straight and narrow as well. I had a big carb loaded dinner one night and just felt like crap!

I am glad you have realised how eating Atkins will change how you feel if you stick to it

Maybe carry a copy of your post in your bag when you go out too to be able to refresh your memory of why you need to stay on plan?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
