Today is day 14 on induction. Tom is around the corner. Have been feeling very weak and tired today. Had no appetite this morning and made myself eat a deviled egg. Took my vitamins and still am feeling the same. What do you guys do when you have those days? I'm thinking maybe I should make myself eat a burger and get some more fat in me? Minus the bun off course. I feel like I can sleep all day.

Re: Feeling Weak/Tired and No Appetite
When I have one of those days I make sure to get enough water in for the day and I get up and do something (exercise) to get my mind off how I feel. Make sure you eat some veggies, not just protein, take a couple pain releavers if you need to to keep your pain level down.
Hope you feel better soon.Carole_____________________May Water 130oz daily

Re: Feeling Weak/Tired and No Appetite
I don't know if you're like me, but induction is good for me for about the two weeks I'm supposed to be... then I crash. I absolutely must move into OWL or I won't get energy back. I would suggest up the veggies, get some good solid Atkins style carbs in your body, give it some fuel by adding fat to those carbs. Works for me anyhow.

Re: Feeling Weak/Tired and No Appetite
I have no pain just weak and tired. Just grilled a hamburger and had it with some mayo, tomatoe and lettuce. As for exercise, don't have enough energy for that. I will add more veggies. As far as mayo goes, I use the reduced fat kind. Will that slow down my weight loss?Start Date-Jan 11, 2010

Re: Feeling Weak/Tired and No Appetite
When I used to get tom (don't anymore) I would be tired the day before ALL day. It didn't matter what I do. I learned that I had to have about 12 hours of sleep the night before it came just because thats what my body needed. The rest of the time (before, during and after) I'm used to about 5-6 hours of sleep. Maybe you've been pushing it too hard lately, lots of great suggestions here! Pop in and let us know how you are doing!

It likely has more sugar than regular mayo... so yes, it might slow down your weight loss.Originally posted by Mfit4me View PostAs far as mayo goes, I use the reduced fat kind. Will that slow down my weight loss?

Re: Feeling Weak/Tired and No Appetite
Reduced fat kinds have fillers like corn starch and sugars - really bad stuff.
If you eat low fat and low carb you will be weak.
