I would say so, but who knows. Are you getting the majority of your carbs from vegetables?

I would personally say this sounds quite a lot. It is best to vary your protein sources and this many eggs might tip you ove the ideal intake of around 30%.

Also I would be concerned about the impact on your bowels!

Are you eating so many because you don't like other choices?

You need to understand the difference between dietary cholesterol and the cholesterol your body produces.

The cholesterol in eggs isn't "dangerous".

Actually, from your reading of DANDR, you should know that "doing Atkins" should lower your cholesterol.

eggs make your cholesterol better. the whole eggs being bad for your cholesterol has been a lie

                im copy paste this

do not get a cholestoral test done but if you still want one wait untill you have been on the diet for atleast a good 9 months i would say and when you do get a cholestoral test done make sure it is a full pannel test one that measures all sizes of LDL cholestoral

you know when doctors say LDL = BAD and HDL = GOOD well its not that simple.
the truth is your body needs LDL its used to make new cells and stuff and you would die with out LDL and theres different types of LDL one type is small dense which is bad and then theres a large healthy fluffy type which is good and has no health risk and your HDL recycles your LDL

now the reason you must wait atleast 6 months but id say 9 in your case before geting a cholestoral test is because of this

a total cholestoral test the one most people get which is mostly useless but it only says your total LDL yes thats right it does not tell you how much good or bad or what ever LDL you have it just combinds them all and tells you your total LDL.
and thats the problem cause when you first start atkins your body produces the large healthy fluffly LDL that has no health risk so then you will have the bad LDL from your previous way of eating and + now also good large healthy fluffly LDL from the atkins diet

and then when you get the avrage total cholestoral test done it will combind both the good and bad LDL and come out as your LDL being very high and the doctor will go berserk and say your diet is bad and put you on cholestoral meds

but you see the doctor is wrong your cholestoral is geting better and the cholestoral meds are useless because they do not regulate the size and type of your LDL cholestoral

the reason you wait 6 - 9 months is so your body filters out the bad small dense LDL so now mostly only the large healthy fluffly LDL is left and i think the reason it takes so many months is because your HDL keeps recycleing all your LDL but since your body is no longer produceing bad LDL because your eating a healthy diet the bad LDL will go away in time

and the reason you should quit your cholestoral lowering meds is because they take away all types of your cholestoral your good and your bad + they give bad health side effects so its better to just wait 6 - 9 months and let your body naturally cure itself with out the use of them drugs
                http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awA2f...layer_embedded

now also know med's can cause horrible weight gain and weight loss problems so if there is any med's that you don't need you should stop takeing them

saturated fat like in meat, eggs, butter, liver, it creates the good large healthy fluffly LDL that has no health risk saturated fat is good for you

eskimos eat a diet of up to 80% fat with loads of saturated animal fats and out of all of them who eat there native diet they have 0% obesity, 0% heart disease, 0% type 2 diabetes

while 1 in 2 amaricans will die from a heart attack

however hydrogenated oils and man made trans fats are still extremely deadly

also to the oringinal topic 6 eggs a day can be ok some for breakfast and some added into your other foods through out the day if your a big person but your more a medium size so make sure you eat other foods too besides eggs

I am just starting to crave them like crazy!! I had 6 hard boiled eggs for breakfast. Then 3 fried with veggies for lunch, and the same for dinner. I just LOVE them now. And they are so cheap, fast to cook, and a perfectly portioned food! Heck, they even come in their own wrapper.

and also know western culture does not ferment there soy properly they rush it and its still toxic. i only know of japan who ferments soy properly to be safe

My initial response was "ya, that's a lot". But I would also follow up with "don't stress over it". As ketosis kicks in, your appetite will decrease and as move onto additional rungs you will naturally cut back.

Drinks lots of water & take a multi vitamin too.

                              Good luck!
