I was planning on frying some chicken wings tonight for dinner. I want a nice crust on them. I was wondering if it would be okay to coat the chicken in flaxseed meal. If not, do you have any other suggestions?

Re: Flaxseed meal
I fry mine in deep fat like WingStop does, no crust at all. It's important that the wings be nice and dry before frying so they'll crisp. I'm a bit of a wings addict, so... LOL But yeah I went through some experimenting before I decided the best wings for me were without any breading at all, just dry 'em with paper towels and let 'em sit out a bit before frying.
And I make chicken strips rolled in finely grated parmesan and ohhhhhhhhhhhhh they're so good even my husband raves about them.

Re: Flaxseed meal
glad you enjoyed them. if this was your first use of flax seed meal be aware it is a soluble fiber and will hold water as it moves fom mouth to rearend which can mask actual body fat scale weight losses.by the book atkinseer
