Seriously, I never timed it... something like 20 minutes, I guess.

I know when they are done from the way they look and feel at touch.

I don't know if this was said before in this thread (sorry if I'm repeating what someone else posted), but if you have flax, have extra water.

Also, don't freak out if you see some weight gain. If it's been a while since you consumed that amount of soluble fiber, you will likely see an increase in the number on the scale. It has nothing to do with fat gain... just with the time it takes "things" to exit the body.

Also remember that using flax (linseed) on induction is only allowed under the 'constipation'/extra fibre rule, where we are told we can add 1 tablespoon or so of either flax, bran, or psyllium husks to avoid constipation.

Using 4 tablespooons of a ground nut or seed would be a good OWL level/rung 3 addition.

Although many people on this and other lowcarb forums seem to have no problems using more flax than Dr Atkins suggested in DANDR regularly on induction I would suggest sticking to using only one or two tablepoonsworth for the moment if you need help in the fiber area of Atkins.

It would only be a few more weeks till you can add more seeds/nuts on OWL rung 3
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
