2big (I hope to see too small soon) you cracked me up, very good idea for next time.
So I still did bad things tonight. I am drinking a no sugar added soymilk (4 NET) and sugar free chocolate sauce (1 NET) along with diabetic friendly yogurt (3 NET). The yogurt was leftover from 2 weeks ago when I decided to do the real induction. I hate to waste food. I know it's not allowed. It was that or peanuts.
I know it will affect me, I'm ok with that. Atleast it's somewhat healthy and not loaded with sugar and carbs.
Back on the plan tomorrow, I already have all my food planned out. I think I will do the Atkins recommended induction through Saturday and then move onto OWL. I hope by then to be at 140. My mini goal is 140.60, that was the lowest I got last year (from 160.40).
It's ok to go to OWL at 140 when my goal weight is 133?? Believe it or not, I don't want to lose too quickly because the longer it takes to come off, the easier it is to maintain.
Ok, don't mind me I have to talk things out. Although I just had my snack after dinner and it wasn't induction food, I added what I had earlier and now, about 18 grams. So, I am hoping there was not too much brown sugar on the rub. I know my husband took out 3/4 cup (looked at recipe) but did not put it all on the ribs. The ribs were halved for each of us. My husband was cute and assured me most of it got swept away by the fat dripping off of them.
Gotta stop worrying and do better tomorrow!
Thanks for listening.
But my prior question still stands. You think if I get to 140 lbs I can go onto OWL, with my goal being 133??
actually 7 pounds from goal you should be in pre so you should aready be in OWL.
So to answer your question yep move to OWL!!
you could actually do it now since you are in ketosis and have already done 14 days of induction. We don't do more as pentance for cheating. we only ever do more induction f we are out of ketosis in OWL or we have regained during maintenance and are over the 5 pound regain limit.
Thank you!!! You just made me feel better. Based on my weight tomorrow I may stay in induction for a couple more days and then switch. Although I started "induction" with more than 20 grams, like 25 and then switched lower, I am afraid to move forward. I know it works, I need encouragement like everyone else getting ready to make the switch.
Is it possible to go lower than my goal weight on OWL?? I guess it's a personal preference?

that depend on if you are doing atkins or not. if you are following Dr Atkins plan No it isn't possible because with 5-10 pounds left to lose you must move to premaintenance/
Now if one was doing their own thing then yep eating OWL with the net carbs below one's personel CCLL AND feeding only one's hunger AND doing the mandatory exercise part of Atkins once could easily drop below where one planned to stop.
Well the scale was up to 142.60, so I am back on the program. Not worried about the tiny weight gain since the pants I am wearing are so much looser than 3 weeks ago. I think I will start OWL Friday.
