    I came home from work today to change my pants really quick before I went to pick up my daughter at daycare. As I started to slip one leg into them, I realized they couldn't be mine, the waist looked WAY too small.

    I brought them to eye level, spread 'em out, looked at the tags...they were definitely mine.

    I slipped 'em on like butter (actually, they are getting to be a bit too large now).

    I love losing weight )

    Mini Goals:
    Goal 1 - 10% (September 13th, 2009)
    Goal 2 - Pre-Pregnancy Weight with 2nd Child (September 27th, 2009)
    Goal 3 - 50 lbs down (December 1st, 2009)
    Goal 4 - Highest Pregnancy Weight with 1st right before c-section (February 20, 2010)
    Goal 5 - Lowest weight reached on WW after having 1st child
    Goal 6 - 100 lbs down
    Goal 7 - Pre-pregnancy weight with 1st
    Goal 8 - Weight I met my husband
    Goal 9 - 150 lbs down
    Goal 10 - Weight in Grade 8
    Goal 11 - Weight in Grade 6

    woo hoo. Good for you. I loved that part too. Things I had shelved in the closed suddenly fit again.

        It is a wonderful thing to lose weight and get into clothes you haven't before. I like shopping in my closet now.

          congratulations! I know what you mean, I had to buy new pants for a meeting i was going to have to so I grabbed what I thought was a 20 but when I got there it said 18P I was like petite? lol last time I bought anything petite I was 12! HAHA so I thought i will try them on and see how far I need to go before those babies fit..and they fit!! I gotta out of there and bought them! wearing them right now and can't be happier!! so keep up the good work

          I started atkins in late november but every other week just sort of fell off the wagon and was not working out..late december I started to really follow it and added the gym from november to december I only lost like 7 lbs not following it right..from december to march 18 I lost 50 lbs give or take depending what mood my scale is on lol.

            You are right, I still feel that my clotheshanging on the washing line look far too small to fit me and am surprised to find they do fit when I put them on
            I suppose I still am wearing those 'fat goggles' at times.
            Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

              oooOOOO I just went to the 2nd hand store last night and bought two new pairs of pants a size smaller then said jeans in my OP. Actually one of the pairs might even be smaller in the waist because the person who had them originally sewed up about an inch on each side to tighten them. So exciting!!

                  I left home with pants that have an elastic waist so i haven't been able to enjoy the feeling just yet LOL.

                  2 years ago i lost about 40 pounds while i was working in phoenix because i started doing the mountain trail walks 2 or 3 times a week. I was there for 6 weeks. When i got home i tried on everything in my closet and all of it fit! I felt like i was getting a new wardrobe! But then as soon as i got home i fell right back into my old habits and put it all right back on.

                      I hope to get there shortly... currently seem to be stuck between sizes... the smaller things in my closet are really too big overall, but when I went to the store and tried on the next size down (which are no longer in the "big" section), they seem too small in the waist. Argh. I think what is happening is my rear end and thighs have gotten to the next size down but my waist hasn't caught up yet. Hopefully another 10 or 15 pounds will cure this issue.

                        Does anybody have issues with how pants fit these days? Seriously...like I had a heck of a time finding dress pants that didn't make me look like I was wearing parachute pants. They would fit great around the waist, but the legs I felt like were these big balloons! I mean I don't have chicken legs or anything by any stretch of the imagination...growing up they were very muscular (due to lots of swimming) underneath my padding of fat, so I've had large thighs for a long time, but OMG this was just ridiculous! I am hoping that I start getting into regular sized pants very soon because I just hate the selection of clothing they have for plus sizes. I may be down 6 pant sizes, but I've still got 4 to go to get into the regular stores.
