So, I just started putting my food log on FitDay as some of you suggested and much to my chagrin, I put in my nice big hearty salad, 2 cups lettice, 1 cucumber, 1 medium tomato, bacon bits, vinegar, and blue cheese crumbles and FitDay says I just ate 15 carbs!! OMG! I can't eat again today!!

Are those net carbs?
And did you use real bacon or the soy stuff?
How big was the cucumber?
What kind of vinegar did you use?

The salad is great! Maybe you could break it into two salads and have 1/2 with lunch and 1/2 with dinner; or as a snack. Ten net carbs is way too low for the day. When I was at 15 net carbs per day I was not losing weight. When I jumped to 25 net carbs per day, my weight loss took off!
Don't let the veggies scare you
If you end up not spreading your veggies around for the day, just have a nice steak for dinner or other protein.

Watch the tomatoes though. Tomatoes are fruits, not vegetables. Tomatoes have fructose, but you don't notice because of the citric acid in them.Robbie T., 240/180/160. 41yr Male, Height 5'9"
