  • Serious about bacon?!

Would it be bad if I just ate bacon. Its wierd, Im about 2 weeks into induction (extended) and all I really crave or care to eat is bacon and a little bit of cheddar cheese. Is it really necessary to change up my protien selections?

Edit....no not only eating bacon. I got it now, thanks for the help. like i said it has been a long time since I read the book, Ive moved, divorced, yadda yadda, lifes been busy. Guess I shouldnt have jumped in without a refresher course. And yes I am eating veggies and exercising and drinking tons of water, measured out daily.

You mean can you only eat bacon and nothing else. Or do you mean can you use bacon as your protein source with your veggies etc?

That is not Atkins you are doing>
You are supposed to eat healthy and exercise. Bacon is salty processed food Atkins suggest we limit somewhat. Cheese is limited and most of your carb should come from veggies (not from bacon and cheese)

Follow the rules in the book or check here if you don't have the book yet.

Are you getting MOST of your daily net carbs from Induction vegetables?

Most bacon is cured with sugar, I would stay away completely.
