Hood makes this stuff called Country Creamer. It says for every tbsp that is has 2g of carbs and 0 sugars. Under the ingredients it says corn syrup in it. Is this acceptable?

I am having a hard time finding a cream that doesn't have sugar in it. Can anybody help?

    Nope. Creamers are junk.

Heavy cream should have no added sugar.

Have you tried real cream instead? I haven't found any creamers that have anything but junk in them. Once I started using real cream in my coffee, though, it was so nummy I couldn't imagine using anything else.

In our supermarkets (in UK) the 'creamers' are usually displayed in the coffee/tea sales section rather than the dairy section where the double and single cream are displayed

Hood makes Heavy Cream. It's the brand I buy. They have both small and large containers in orange. I think you have Stop and Shop and Shoprite in your area. Try there. Good luck!

Hey guys, thanks. Yes, I have Stop & Shop by me and I went through everything in their store and couldn't find a heavy cream without sugar. I'll check out some of the other supermarkets by me. Thanks guys.

                  Yes.

Why do you think it's not?

It doesn't count as water though.

And you have to count the carbs.

Really dyjack? I am surprised. I looked at every creamer and every heavy cream it they at least all said 1 gram for sugar. I go to the Stop & Shop actually in Danbury, CT. Maybe i have to try another one. Thanks for the photo.

Is sugar in the list of ingredients?

You know that cream has "sugar" in it from the lactose.

Just as green beans have "sugar".

You can't assume that just because sugar is listed on the nutritional label that there's added "sugar".

You might want to reread the section in DANDR on how to read a nutritional label.

There is no sugar in the list of ingredients. The nutritional label says 0g of sugar but of course there is obviously lactose naturally occurring. Must be less than .5g.

The thing that stuck out like a sore thumb in that picture posted was "Ultra Pasteurized"

This product can now be sold on the grocery shelf because no bacteria in their right mind would want to live in there. It's sold in the dairy case because people would think it's gross to see it on the shelf. It's gross enough seeing an expiration date 2 months away...

Ultra pasteurization is a MUCH higher temperature pasteurization process.

                              Just as an FYI.
