I got some Deigner Whey Protein Powder and wanted to make myself a smoothie after my workout, does this sound ok to you guys? BTW is was quite delicious
Ok so I used
1/2 cup (4 ozs) Plain Greek yogurt
3 strawberries
1/4 cup blueberries
1 scoop of the whey powder (100 cals, 18 g protein, 2 g sugar and I think 2 grams of fat)
3 ice cubes
I threw it all in a blender and drank it, it wasn't very sweet but since the whey powder had sugar or some type of sweetner in it, I didn't want to add more and it ended up sweet enough for me (I'm not real big on sweets).
Does this sound ok to you guys? I really had been wanting to try a smoothie and this was my first EVER! I felt pretty good after I drank it too, almost like I had a buzz! I hope it was't a sugar rush from the combo of sugar in the yogurt, berries, and powder!
