          I, too, eat a LOT (scary sometimes!) but every time I try to count calories, I get all hung up on numbers less than 2000 kcals/day and then I'm STARVED, cuz that's just not enough for me. i'm highly active and muscular. I only weigh 112 pounds but I eat a ton! Especially of protein. When I'm not trying to stay under some magical number of caloires "most" people eat, then I'm fine. Counting calories leads me to starvation, bingeing, feeling badly about myself...everything I left the SAD diet for and came here and got RID of.
          Not for me. It's crazy-making for me. I'm trying to listen to my body. Not easy, but gets better every day

            OP did it take all 20 wings to make you feel satisfied or did you eat them because you could and they were there? That is the answer to your question. If you actually needed that many wings then you didn't eat too many.

            But no Atkins is not an unlimited binge, the point is to learn to control your eating. Not eat and eat and eat just because it's an allowed food. Otherwise you haven't learned anything from the process and eventually it will catch up to you and you will start gaining. I think some forget you can gain on Atkins if you over do it.

            As long as you only eat what you need, no worries about counting calories. Love that part of the plan.
