    Ok, I did this weight lose about a year ago and found myself loosing lots of weight. Life happened and I got off track gaining back the 40 pounds I had lost. I'm however going to start but need a little advise on how not to "relapse". Questions...how long before I go into the Ketosis stage?

    If you followed the book to the letter you should be in Ketosis in a day or two. Welcome Jessica, glad you found us and joined.

    Find a lot of foods on the acceptable list that you like or love, try new foods often and new recipes. Don't get in a rut and if you crave something special that's not on the list, come to the board and ask as someone probably has an induction friendly recipe or alternative for you.

        Stock your fridge and panty with allowed foods so you never have the excuse of well there was nothing else to eat so I cheated. Also check labels carefully, just becuase it's meat like hot dogs, sausages etc doesn't mean it's atkins friendly. Print off the list of sugar alternatives that companies put into the labels like dextrose etc and keep it with you while shopping. It's amazing how many things people read as no sugar actually have sugar, it's just under a different name, sneaky.

        Like mentioned post often to help stay motivated.
