Re: davinci syrups is it only online

I know in Oklahoma I can find them in some Walmarts, the local grocery store Crest and at the Health Food Store. Walmart and Crest only carry vanilla and hazelnut, but the Health Food Store carries every flavor imaginable. My husband loves the Chocolate one. We use it to flavor desserts and shakes, but hubby likes it occassionally in his coffee. Hope you find some!

Well I got to check my local wal mart a d there was none to be found. I do know of one store that carrys them but it is in Melrose near Beverly hills and I don't want to drive an 1 1/2. To get it. But if I'm desperate I might. They charge 8.99 if I want them to ship it to my house. Which might be my last option. I still havnt checked albertsons yet.

1 1/2 hours each way? or total?

Why not check Netrition.com - The Internet's Premier Nutrition Superstore!

Why not contact www.davincigourmet.com and see if they can tell you a local source?

You might also check liquor stores ... if I recall, someone found some there.

And ... do you have any low carb stores in the area?

Out of simple curiosity ... why is finding this so important?

I found Cappuccino Connection has the cheapest shipping rates for DaVinci SF syrups at $5.95 no matter how many bottles you get.

As mentioned, there are a lot of threads on these syrups here. When I first started low carbing, I bought a lot of different flavors and found many of them tasted similar and basically, I wasted my money (and a lot of shelf space! ). Back then I was trying to make LC versions of the sweets and foods I should be avoiding in my daily foods. Over time my tastes and habits have changed and I seldom use these syrups.

If you could post what you are trying to use these syrups with we could make some suggestions or flavor recommendations.

I am like Mizski, I bought a variety of flavours when I started (my version of) Atkins and still have most of it left.

She is right - many of them taste very similar

I tend to use it if I am baking a dessert or cake for my husband (who has not lost his sweet tooth) or to take to a function where non-lowcarbers will also be partaking and I want to have a slice myself. As I do not have sugar in the house, if I want to make anything sweet I have to use artificial sweeteners.

BTW I find most USA-originated cake and dessert recipes too sweet so add only half the recommended amount of sweetener initally and sometimes use even less the next time I make it.

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
