i had that happen to me today. i listen to my body and average about 1300-1500 calories but today i ate 2,100.

    what gives?

It's cool!! It happens! Now, you know you have to have an emergency plan, right? I think we expect our bodies to operate like an alarm clock sometimes. We expect them to only "go off" at the time we've set them for and never any variation, right? Well, it doesn't work that way. We all have different bodies and those bodies have needs that vary from day to day. Make drinking water your first line of defense. Always hit the water first. If that doesn't quench it for you, have plenty of legal on plan foods available. Just know...this is normal. It does happen. You just have to have a plan for when it hits you!

        Sandra,

If I recall, eating more calories shouldn't be a problem for you ... aren't you undereating them generally?

Maybe you were just hungry? I'd surely be hungry at 1300-1500 on average and I'm about the same weight as you.

I see nothing wrong with 2100 calories as long as you made nutritious choices for them.

made the mistake of going to the grocery store while hungry today... I almost lost it in the bakery section... all those frosted goodies were calling out to me. Then I almost lost it again at check-out - those candy bars!

                  Maybe you're ovulating?
I get hungry just because I breath lol
Some days you just need a little more food than others. Just make sure you stay on plan.
